I agree with the person above me.  Focus on the eyelashes, and the rest of the face should be mostly in focus.  Or perhaps you could bump the aperture to maybe a 5.6, but you'd have to have a slower shutter speed to keep it well exposed.  If you don't already know, the higher the aperture (22, 18, 16, yadda yadda) the more things will be in focus in the photograph (large depth of field), and the lower the aperature (2, 4, 5.6, 8, yadda yadda) less of the photo will be in focus (shallow depth of field) as you can see in your photo with only the hair being in focus in the whole picture!
